"Instigating innovation is in their DNA, especially when it’s a positive outcome for the wider society"

On announcing the award, here's what the judges had to say about the Bailie Group:

“Once a manufacturing group dating back to 1862, our innovative family business of the year has continued to evolve into the professional services and technology business that it is today. Instigating innovation is in their DNA, especially when it’s a positive outcome for the wider society, and it’s even earmarked an innovation fund for entrepreneurial innovation and investment in staff propositions. An innovative and forward-thinking business and great winner of the innovation family business of the year.”

Accepting the award on behalf of the Bailie Group, at a virtual award ceremony, CEO Fergus Bailie said:

“We are so proud to receive this award.” He continues, “As a family business we have changed over time, from being a manufacturing printing group to a professional services group of technology experts and I firmly believe family businesses can make these changes because of their long-term commitments to excellence.”

Innovation drives us forward and all group companies have access to our Bailie Group innovation fund. We are looking forward to continuing to innovate to help our business and our client's businesses succeed.
